holding fast to Jesus and growing as I am nourished by God

the focus needed to set my mind on what pleases The Spirit

 persuaded through alertness more than drama

wholeheartedly, glorifying God, because I see the greatness of his works and ways

living in the fear and gratitude that comes from being delivered from God’s wrath

 praising God for his deliverance from temporary and eternal suffering

 responding to bad things as a part of God’s ultimate perfect sovereign plan

 testifying with power through suffering

nourished enough by gods word to obey his word

 throwing off my old sinful nature and putting on my new
