obeying God‘s command, because I desire to do so

understanding God’s love for me enough to extend it to others

keeping myself pure because of my eager expectation to see God in his Majesty

possible to find The Power to Change so you can start living the life

living in God, in obedience, because I love him

 awe over the depth of my sin in the greater depth of God’s forgiveness

 following Jesus in the kingdom of heaven, rather than my own desires on earth

 rescued from my sinful desires to delight in God

responding to God’s promises, and becoming like Jesus

leading by example, because I am eager to serve God, rather than for what I can get from those I serve

using suffering to help me, become a lover of God, rather than a lover of pleasure

undisturbed by suffering because my hope is in Jesus

 Enteresting my honor to God instead of defending myself

moving towards holiness in everything I do as I fix my hope on Jesus’ return

accomplishing much through confession and prayer

initiating and embracing all discipline that leads to holiness

wisdom that is filled with mercy and good deeds

extending to others, the outrageous mercy that God has extend it to me

Have you ever struggled to stop a bad habit? If you have ever asked the question ”How do I stop doing, what I really want to stop doing even though I don’t want to stop doing it right now?” this Sunday’s message is for you!

wanting God himself more than I want what he can give me

seeing the superior results of denying myself clearly enough that I want to

initiating and embracing all discipline that leads to holiness

 seeing Jesus, and choosing to be with him over the passing pleasures of sin

pausing when tempted to focus on God’s promised reward, knowing the temptation will diminish as I do

 choosing suffering as a pathway to the surpassing value of gaining Jesus

walking in the Spirit and experiencing and reflecting the person God has made me to become

Description:  We don’t always see the potential in small beginnings, but God does. In Zechariah 4:10, the Bible tells us not to despise small beginnings because the Lord rejoices to see the work begin. This weekend, we’re learning how small habits can have a big impact on our lives.

eagerly, waiting for Jesus‘ return and my full salvation

God’s law embedded in my understanding and engraved on my heart

 seeking God alone, undistracted by shower substitutes

waiting patiently for God’s promise to be fulfilled

 equipped for the place. God has prepared by learning from my trials

turning my heart toward God through trust and obedience

Description: Finding peace can be so challenging when everything around us seems to change. Our interests, abilities, and even our families change. The key to finding peace has less to do with where we find it and more to do with where we place it.
